Cross Cut Test
Test method: Carve 100 squares (1 mm² each) using a grid knife, exposing the substrate.
Apply 3M610 adhesive tape firmly, then rapidly tear it off at 60° after 1 minute.
Inspect paint adhesion on the grid.
Acceptance Criteria: Paint peel-off < 5% (≥4B rating).
Environment: Room temperature

Color Difference (ΔE) & Components
ΔE = Total color difference (magnitude).
ΔL = Lightness: + (whiter), − (darker).
Δa = Red/Green: + (redder), − (greener).
Δb = Yellow/Blue: + (yellower), − (bluer).
Tolerance Levels (ΔE)
0–0.25 = Ideal match (very small/none).
0.25–0.5 = Tiny (acceptable).
0.5–1.0 = Small-medium (acceptable in some cases).
1.0–2.0 = Medium (acceptable in some applications).
2.0–4.0 = Noticeable (acceptable in certain cases).
>4.0 = Very large (unacceptable).
