Advanced Glass Surface Coating

Enhancing Durability, Functionality, and Aesthetics for Every Glass Product

What is Glass Surface Coating?

Surface coating is a specialized process that applies functional and decorative layers onto glass surfaces. At Saida Glass, we provide high-quality coatings including anti-reflective, scratch-resistant, conductive, and hydrophobic coatings to meet diverse industry needs.

Our Surface Coating Advantages

We combine advanced technology and precise control to provide coatings that improve the performance and longevity of your glass products:

● Anti-reflective coatings for clear optical performance
● Scratch-resistant coatings for daily durability
● Conductive coatings for electronics and touch devices
● Hydrophobic coatings for easy cleaning and water resistance
● Custom coatings tailored to client specifications

1. Anti-Reflective Coatings (AR)

Principle: A thin layer of low-refractive-index material is applied to the glass surface to reduce light reflection through optical interference, resulting in higher light transmission.
Applications: Electronic screens, camera lenses, optical instruments, solar panels, or any application requiring high transparency and clear visual performance.
Advantages:
• Significantly reduces glare and reflection
• Improves display and imaging clarity
• Enhances the overall visual quality of the product

2. Anti-Glare Coatings (AG)

Principle: A micro-etched or chemically treated surface diffuses incoming light, reducing strong reflections and surface glare while maintaining visibility.
Applications: Touch screens, dashboard displays, industrial control panels, outdoor displays, and products used in bright or high-glare environments.
Advantages:
• Reduces harsh reflections and surface glare
• Improves visibility under strong or direct light
• Provides a comfortable viewing experience in various environments

3. Anti-Fingerprint Coatings (AF)

Principle: A thin oleophobic and hydrophobic layer is applied to the glass surface to prevent fingerprint adhesion, making smudges easier to wipe off.
Applications: Smartphones, tablets, wearable devices, home appliance panels, and any glass surface frequently touched by users.
Advantages:
• Reduces fingerprint and smudge marks
• Easy to clean and maintain
• Keeps the surface smooth and aesthetically clean

4. Scratch-Resistant Coatings

Principle: Forms a hard layer (silica, ceramic, or similar) to protect glass from scratches.
Applications: Smartphones, tablets, touch screens, watches, appliances.
Advantages:
● Strengthens surface hardness
● Prevents scratches
● Maintains clear, high-quality appearance

5. Conductive Coatings

Principle: Coats glass with transparent conductive materials (ITO, silver nanowires, conductive polymers).
Applications: Touchscreens, displays, sensors, smart home devices.
Advantages:
● Transparent and conductive
● Supports precise touch and signal transmission
● Customizable conductivity

6. Hydrophobic Coatings

Principle: Creates a water-repellent surface for self-cleaning.
Applications: Windows, façades, solar panels, outdoor glass.
Advantages:
● Repels water and dirt
● Easy to clean
● Maintains transparency and durability
